The most common cause is a closed water supply tap, but a clogged inlet filter, faulty inlet valve, or defective pressostat can also trigger this condition.

The dishwasher will stop the cycle and wait when this error is active, so there is no immediate risk of overflow or water damage. However, you should not attempt to force the cycle through repeatedly without addressing the root cause. If the inlet valve or pressostat is the problem, ignoring the error could lead to incomplete wash cycles or eventual component damage.

If the fix is simply opening a closed water tap, there is no parts cost involved. Cleaning a blocked inlet filter screen is also a no-cost or low-cost repair. If the water inlet solenoid valve needs replacement, parts typically range from $30 to $80 depending on the model, plus labor if a technician is needed. Start by locating the water supply tap behind or beneath the dishwasher and confirming it is fully open. Once the tap is open, press the ON/OFF key S0 to resume the program. Persistent errors after these steps point to a faulty inlet solenoid valve or pressostat that will need further testing or replacement.

Pressing the ON/OFF key S0 allows the program to continue after the underlying issue is corrected. If the water supply tap was closed and is now open, the reset will allow the fill cycle to complete and the error to clear.
