Door switch stuck closed

Door switch stuck closed — control programmed to not start if it suspects the door switch is stuck closed; control looks for door switch to open between cycles.

1. Open and close door and then press Start/Resume key. Instruct customer. 2. Unplug dishwasher or disconnect power. 3. Measure resistance of door switch contacts while checking mechanical operation of latch assembly.

1.1. Open and close door and then press Start/Resume key. Instruct customer. 2. Unplug dishwasher or disconnect power. 3. Measure resistance of door switch contacts while checking mechanical operation of latch assembly.

2.Measure door lock assembly resistance across the PTC terminals. Expected: ~200 ohms cold, rising sharply once energized.

3.Inspect strike and latch alignment. A warped door or misaligned strike prevents the switch stack from closing in the correct sequence.
