If the resistance is out of range, the motor needs replacement. If resistance is within spec, inspect the wiring harness and connectors for corrosion, loose pins, or damage before considering the control board.

The dishwasher is unlikely to complete a normal wash cycle with this fault present, since the motor that circulates water through the spray arms is the component involved. Attempting to run cycles without resolving the fault could mask further damage. It is best to address the motor or wiring issue before returning the unit to regular use.
