A reset may temporarily clear the code, but the error will return during the next Automatic Function Test if the underlying problem has not been repaired. The control board actively tests the thermistor circuit at startup, so any open circuit condition will be detected again. A lasting fix requires diagnosing and correcting the fault in the thermistor or its wiring.
