Polar Refrigerator Error Code Lo dC

Lo dC on a Polar N7LX or N8LX refrigerator means the DC input voltage to the unit has dropped below the required 12.0 VDC level. When this happens, the refrigerator inhibits all operating modes and sounds an audible alarm. The unit will not resume cooling until the input voltage is corrected and stable.

Simply resetting the unit will not resolve the Lo dC error if the underlying voltage problem still exists. The control board continuously monitors the DC input voltage, so the fault will reappear as long as the supply remains below 12.0 VDC. The error will clear on its own once the input voltage is corrected and held at the required level.

Repair costs vary widely depending on the cause. Cleaning corroded terminals or adjusting wiring connections may cost little to nothing in parts.
