The control board has detected either an open or short circuit in the sensor circuit, meaning it cannot get a valid temperature reading from that compressor's discharge line. The system flags this fault to protect the compressor from operating without proper temperature monitoring.

It is not advisable to continue running the heat pump with an active E133 fault. The discharge temperature sensor on compressor 2 is a critical safety input, and without accurate readings, the system cannot protect the compressor from overheating or other damage. Continued operation could lead to compressor failure, which is a significantly more costly repair.
