Communication between them has been interrupted for more than 10 seconds. The refrigerator signals this fault by repeatedly cycling the LCD panel on and off while sounding a buzzer alarm. This is an internal electronics fault that requires inspection of the main PCB and its wiring connections.

It is not advisable to continue using the refrigerator with error code 26 active. Because the MAIN and LOAD MICOM are not communicating, the refrigerator cannot properly coordinate its cooling components, meaning fans, the compressor, or valves may not operate correctly. Food safety can be compromised if cooling is disrupted, and continued operation with a communication fault can potentially cause additional stress on components.
