From Service Manual 620247, p.19:

1.Separate MAIN PCB CN40 wire and measure resistance between CN60-"21" ↔ "23"; 0 ohm = heater short, ∞ ohm = wire/bimetal open.

2.Measure the heating element resistance across the terminals with the leads removed. Expected: 11 to 13 ohms.

3.Verify the thermal fuse and high-limit thermostat show continuity. An open safety in series with the element produces a no-heat fault even when the element tests good.
