The refrigerator shuts down the compressor to prevent damage from running under low-voltage conditions. The fault can originate from the home's electrical supply or from the refrigerator's own PCB.

The error itself is a protective shutdown, so the refrigerator is behaving correctly by stopping the compressor. However, the underlying cause, such as a degraded outlet, loose wiring connection, or overloaded circuit, can pose a fire or shock risk if left unaddressed. It is important to inspect the electrical supply components thoroughly rather than simply resetting the error and continuing to operate the appliance.
