Error code 90 indicates a Compressor IPM Shut Down. The IPM, or Intelligent Power Module, is part of the inverter PCB that controls the compressor. It shuts down automatically when it detects overcurrent, low gate voltage, or other fault conditions in order to protect the compressor and drive board from damage.

When error code 90 is active, the compressor is shut down and the refrigerator is not cooling properly. Food safety becomes a concern if the unit remains in this state for an extended period. The refrigerator itself is not a fire or shock hazard from this error alone, but you should address the fault promptly and transfer perishable food to another cooler if the unit cannot be repaired quickly.
