The refrigerator will not cool reliably or at all while this error is active, so food safety is the primary concern. Do not rely on the refrigerator to keep perishable food at safe temperatures until the repair is complete. The error code itself is a protective shutdown, so there is no immediate electrical hazard to the home, but you should avoid leaving valuable food in the unit until it is repaired.
