From Service Manual 192847, p.19:

1.Turn main power OFF then ON to run self-diagnosis check; inspect damper motor relay, motor, reed switch, and magnet.

2.Measure the drive motor winding resistance at the main control connector. Expected: 2 to 6 ohms between winding pairs.

3.Rotate the drum by hand and check for free rotation. Inspect the belt and pulley for glaze or wear; a slipping belt mimics a motor fault under load.
