A reset, performed by unplugging the unit for several minutes and restoring power, may temporarily clear E41 if the cause was a transient communication glitch. However, if either PCB has physically failed or the wiring harness is damaged, the error will return shortly after the reset. A persistent E41 after multiple resets indicates a hardware fault that requires component inspection or replacement.
