Samsung Refrigerator Error Code Ice Maker(FZ) Sensor Error

This error means the main control board has detected an invalid signal from the temperature sensor located in the freezer ice maker. The board considers any reading above 149°F (65°C) or below -58°F (-50°C) to be out of range, which is caused by a wiring, connector, or sensor problem rather than an actual temperature extreme. The four recognized causes are sensor housing separation, connector contact failure, an open circuit, or a short circuit in the sensor wiring.

A reset may temporarily clear the error code from the display, but it will return as soon as the control board attempts to read the sensor again and receives an out-of-range voltage. The underlying hardware fault in the sensor, connector, or wiring must be repaired to permanently clear the code.
