Both conditions prevent the inverter board from operating the compressor. This is a control board and compressor system fault that requires hands-on electrical diagnosis to resolve.

When the IF code is active, the compressor is not running, which means the refrigerator is not cooling. Food safety becomes a concern relatively quickly, especially for perishables. You should move temperature-sensitive items to another refrigerator or cooler until the fault is diagnosed and repaired. Do not attempt to operate the unit by repeatedly resetting it without addressing the root cause, as a shorted IPM can cause further damage.
