A reset may temporarily clear the fault display, but the error will return as soon as the dishwasher attempts a new cycle and the OWI runs its calibration again. The underlying backflow issue with the drain check valve must be physically repaired before the code will stay cleared.

If the repair is a drain hose routing correction with no parts needed, there may be no cost beyond your time. Replacing the drain loop or drain hose assembly typically involves parts costs in the range of $15 to $60 depending on the specific components required. Start by disconnecting the drain hose at the plumbing connection, elevating it above the dishwasher, and filling it with water.
