Resetting the dishwasher will clear the displayed error code, but it will return immediately if the underlying water supply problem has not been fixed. Correct the cause first, such as opening the supply tap or replacing a failed inlet valve, and then restart the cycle. If the machine fills normally, the U1 code will not reappear.

If the issue is simply a closed tap or kinked hose, the repair costs nothing.
