This fault points to either a failed thermistor or a problem with the wiring connected to it. The dryer will need the thermistor or its wiring repaired to clear the error.

It is not recommended to operate the dryer while this fault is active. The thermistor is responsible for monitoring heat levels inside the drum, and without accurate temperature data, the dryer cannot regulate heat properly. Running the dryer in this condition could pose an overheating risk or result in poor drying performance. Resolve the fault before resuming normal use.

A reset may temporarily clear the error display, but the fault will return as soon as the control board checks the thermistor circuit again at startup. Because the root cause is a physical fault, either a failed thermistor or a wiring problem, the error will persist until the underlying issue is corrected. Resetting the unit without making repairs is not a solution.

If a wiring fault is found, repair or replace the damaged section of the harness.
