Water temperature sensor error - sensor value is out of range or no change in temperature sensor value of +3.6°F (2°C) during heating detected. Delayed error code, user notified only after the 10th occurrence.

Water temperature sensor error - sensor value
From Tech Sheet W17978455, p.27:
1.Check the temperature sensor resistance.
2.Disconnect the sensor and measure resistance at the sensor body. Expected: 10 kΩ to 12 kΩ at 77°F (25°C).
3.Check the sensor harness for opens and shorts. Back-probe the sensor pins at the control board connector; a reading outside 5 kΩ to 50 kΩ indicates a failed sensor.
