The control board monitors incoming water through the pressure switch, and if that switch never trips to confirm water entry, the machine stops and displays F10. The most common causes are supply valve issues, kinked hoses, or clogged inlet screens.

The washer will not complete a wash cycle while F10 is active, so running a load is not possible until the fault is resolved. The error is a protective shutdown and does not indicate an immediate safety hazard such as an electrical or fire risk. However, you should address the root cause before attempting to use the machine, since running it with a restricted water supply could stress components over time.

If the fix is simply opening a supply valve or straightening a hose, there is no parts cost involved. Cleaning or replacing inlet valve filter screens is inexpensive, typically in the range of a few dollars for replacement screens.
