Motor Control Unit (MCU) error
Motor Control Unit (MCU) error – internal failure, repeating under/over voltage, or over current conditions; can also be caused by momentary loss of neutral feed to MCU during spin cycle.

Motor Control Unit (MCU) error – internal
From Tech Sheet W17978426, p.38:
1.Unplug washer or disconnect power, then check wire harness connections between drive motor, MCU, and CCU.
2.Measure the drive motor winding resistance at the main control connector. Expected: 2 to 6 ohms between winding pairs.
3.Rotate the drum by hand and check for free rotation. Inspect the belt and pulley for glaze or wear; a slipping belt mimics a motor fault under load.
