Out-Of-Balance

Out-Of-Balance - Washer basket exceeds out-of-balance limits during spin; the washer automatically attempts the spin cycle 4 times and if the load is not redistributed enough, OB is displayed and the washer goes into STANDBY mode.

Evenly distribute the clothes load and close lid. If OB continues to flash, check out-of-balance solenoid switch (see Test No. 3).

From Tech Sheet W11472331, p.23:

1.Evenly distribute the clothes load and close lid. If OB continues to flash, check out-of-balance solenoid switch (see Test No. 3).

2.Measure door lock assembly resistance across the PTC terminals. Expected: ~200 ohms cold, rising sharply once energized.

3.Inspect strike and latch alignment. A warped door or misaligned strike prevents the switch stack from closing in the correct sequence.
