UE stands for Unbalance Error. It means the washer could not balance the load in the drum well enough to proceed to full spin speed, either after 20 repeated balance attempts or during an interim spin phase. The machine stops spinning to prevent excessive vibration or mechanical stress. In most cases, manually redistributing the laundry and restarting the spin cycle clears the error.

The washer stops spinning on its own when UE appears, which is a protective function that prevents excessive vibration and potential mechanical damage. It is safe to open the door and redistribute the load. However, if the error repeats persistently on every cycle regardless of load size or arrangement, continued use without inspection could stress the suspension, drum bearings, or motor over time.
