Communication error between control board and

From Service Manual 418890, p.22:

1.Heater off, Motor off, unit goes to Fault state.

2.Measure the heating element resistance across the terminals with the leads removed. Expected: 11 to 13 ohms.

3.Verify the thermal fuse and high-limit thermostat show continuity. An open safety in series with the element produces a no-heat fault even when the element tests good.
