This communication breakdown prevents normal coordination between the two boards and can disable cooktop operation.

It is not recommended to continue using the cooktop while F20 is active, as the communication failure between the EOC and ESEC means the surface element control may not function predictably. The oven cavity may or may not be affected depending on the specific failure, but using the cooktop in this state is a safety risk. Disconnect power until the fault is diagnosed and corrected.
