The Slow Pump Error means the washer's control board started the drain pump but the pressure switch did not confirm an empty tub within 3 minutes. This is displayed in Field Service Mode Position 2 with the Soak LED on. The problem can be a slow or blocked drain pump, a restricted drain hose, or a faulty pressure switch or pressure hose that is not correctly reporting the water level.

It is not recommended to continue running the washer while this error is active. If the tub is not draining properly, running another cycle could result in water remaining in the drum, potential leaks, or strain on the pump motor. Address the drainage issue before resuming normal use.

Repair costs depend on the cause. Clearing a blocked pump filter or straightening a kinked hose costs nothing beyond your time. A replacement drain pump typically runs in the range of $40 to $120 for the part, with additional labor if a technician is hired. A new pressure switch is generally in the $15 to $50 range.
