E13 means the control board is receiving no signal from the pressure switch circuit. The pressure switch is responsible for monitoring the water level inside the drum, and when it produces no readable output, the washer halts the cycle and displays E13. The cause can be a faulty switch, a damaged pressure hose, a blocked pressure chamber, a wiring fault, or a water supply problem preventing the tub from filling at all.

You should not continue running the washer while E13 is active. The machine has stopped the cycle because it cannot confirm the water level in the drum. Running a cycle without a functioning water level sensor risks overfilling the tub or running the drum without adequate water, both of which can cause damage to the machine or your home.

A reset may temporarily clear the E13 code, but the error will return as soon as the washer attempts to fill and the pressure switch circuit still produces no signal. The underlying fault, whether it is a faulty component, a blocked hose, or a wiring issue, must be identified and corrected before the washer will complete a cycle normally. A reset alone is not a repair.

Checking that water supply valves are open, inspecting the pressure hose for kinks or loose connections, and clearing a blocked pressure chamber are all tasks that do not require special tools.
