No heat - control programmed to disable heater if it detects a water heating problem; heater circuit problem with open in heater or open connection/component; faulty heater drive circuit.

Running diagnostics clears the control and allows heater to turn on again. Must also correct the water heating problem. Unplug and measure resistance of heater and all components in water heating circuit.
