Importantly, the dryer does not stop operation entirely. The cycle continues running without shaker function, which is why this fault may go unnoticed until the user observes reduced performance or an unusual behavior during the cycle.

The neutral circuit fault specifically points to a problem in the return path of the electrical circuit serving the shaker assembly. This is distinct from a line-side or load-side fault. A neutral fault can result from a broken wire, a corroded terminal, a loose connector, or a failed connection at the control board or shaker assembly harness plug. Because the dryer continues operating, technicians should treat this as a diagnostic priority rather than an emergency shutdown condition, but it does require attention to restore full cycle functionality.
