This fault is most often linked to a blocked overflow hole or tube, a stuck water inlet valve, or a faulty pressure switch.

You should not continue running the washer while E21 is active. The code indicates water has already exceeded the safe fill level, meaning additional cycles could result in water overflowing onto the floor. Resolve the underlying cause before attempting another wash cycle.

If the fix is simply clearing a blocked overflow hole or tube, the repair may cost nothing beyond your time.
