A reset may clear the stored E82 code temporarily, but since it is a traceability code recorded by the control board, it will likely return if the underlying fill system problem is not resolved. Resetting without addressing the root cause is not a long-term solution. It is best to complete a diagnostic check before attempting to continue using the washer.
