The M2-2310 code means the printer has detected a paper jam at the bottom of the duplex unit, which is the internal assembly that flips paper over for double-sided printing. The printer halts operation when this sensor is triggered to avoid mechanical damage. You need to remove the jammed paper and clear any debris from that section of the paper path before printing can resume.

A power cycle or reset alone will not permanently clear the M2-2310 error if paper or debris remains in the bottom of the duplex unit. The jam sensor will continue to trigger the fault each time a print job attempts to use the duplex path. The physical obstruction must be removed first, after which a restart will allow the sensor to confirm the path is clear.

If the error is caused by a simple paper jam or debris, there is no parts cost and the fix requires only a few minutes of hands-on inspection. If worn duplex feed rollers are found to be the root cause, replacement roller components typically range from a modest cost up to a higher price depending on the specific model and parts sourcing. Professional service labor, if needed, would add to that estimate.

Open the duplex unit access panel on your Samsung printer and carefully remove any jammed paper, including small torn fragments that may not be immediately visible. Inspect the bottom of the duplex paper path for dust, debris, or foreign objects and remove any contamination you find. Once the path is fully clear, close the panel and restart the printer to reset the jam sensor.

You should not attempt to print while the M2-2310 error is active.
