Resistance across the heater circuit should measure 135 ohms, plus or minus 7 percent, when tested at connector CN74 pins 1 and 2.

A failed damper heater is not an immediate safety hazard, but it can allow ice to accumulate around the damper flap and block proper airflow between compartments.
