The error itself is not a safety hazard, but a non-functional condenser fan will cause the compressor to run hotter than normal, which can shorten its lifespan. Motor replacement is a moderate-difficulty repair that requires ordering the correct part and accessing the condenser fan assembly. If the Main PCB is at fault, that repair is more complex and may warrant professional service.
