From Service Manual 669900, p.32:

1.Remove MAIN PCB CN70 and CN77 connectors and read continuity between BROWN and ORG wires; 0 Ohm indicates heater short, infinity indicates wire/thermal fuse/bimetal open.

2.Measure the heating element resistance across the terminals with the leads removed. Expected: 11 to 13 ohms.

3.Verify the thermal fuse and high-limit thermostat show continuity. An open safety in series with the element produces a no-heat fault even when the element tests good.
