The board monitors a feedback signal from the fan to confirm it is spinning, and when that signal is lost or abnormal, this error is triggered.

The error itself is not a safety hazard, but it does mean the refrigerator compartment is not circulating cold air properly. Food in the fridge section may warm to unsafe temperatures within a few hours if the fan is completely non-functional. Move perishable items to a cooler or another refrigerator until the repair is completed.
