Primary grill heating element failure (Pyro
From Tech Sheet W18018873, p.45:
1.First check grill connections. If it is ok, disconnect the heating element and check the resistance between the terminals (approx. 22Ω ± 3Ω). If the value is in range, change Antares.
2.Measure the heating element resistance across the terminals with the leads removed. Expected: 11 to 13 ohms.
3.Verify the thermal fuse and high-limit thermostat show continuity. An open safety in series with the element produces a no-heat fault even when the element tests good.
