Door switch stuck closed
Door switch stuck closed - control looks for door switch to open between cycles; customer didn't open door or door switch contacts stuck closed.

Open and close door and then press Start/Resume key. Unplug dishwasher or disconnect power. Measure resistance of door switch contacts while checking mechanical operation of latch assembly.

From Tech Sheet W17994888, p.20:
1.Open and close door and then press Start/Resume key. Unplug dishwasher or disconnect power. Measure resistance of door switch contacts while checking mechanical operation of latch assembly.
2.Measure door lock assembly resistance across the PTC terminals. Expected: ~200 ohms cold, rising sharply once energized.
3.Inspect strike and latch alignment. A warped door or misaligned strike prevents the switch stack from closing in the correct sequence.
