The MCU manages power delivery to the drive motor, and these electrical faults cause it to shut down and flag the error. If the fault occurs during high-speed spin, the door will remain locked for 3 minutes as a safety measure before releasing.

You should not continue running the washer while F09 is active. The MCU is detecting repeated electrical faults that could indicate a wiring issue or motor problem, and running the machine under these conditions risks further damage to the control electronics. Disconnect power and diagnose the issue before attempting another cycle.

Unplugging the washer for a few minutes may temporarily clear the F09 code, but if the underlying fault, such as a bad connection, failing motor, or faulty MCU, is still present, the code will return during the next cycle.
