Wolf Range Error Code 07-02

Error code 07-02 means the control system has detected a shorted broil relay within the Relay Module. The relay is responsible for switching power to the broil circuit, and a short means the relay is stuck in a closed state or has an uncontrolled electrical path. The range displays this fault to alert the user and prevent unsafe operation of the broiler circuit.

It is not recommended to continue using the broil function when this code is active, as a shorted relay can cause the broiler to behave unpredictably. Other cooking functions may or may not be affected depending on how the range responds to the fault. Discontinue use of the broiler and have the range inspected promptly to avoid a potential fire hazard.
