Wolf Range Error Code 10-01

Error code 10-01 means the Relay Module on your Wolf range has detected a failure in communication between itself and the User Interface Module. These two control boards need to continuously exchange data to operate the range safely and correctly. The fault points to either a wiring harness problem or a failed UIM. A technician will need to inspect the connection and likely replace a component.

A communications error between the RM and UIM can affect the range's ability to properly control burners and oven functions, which creates unpredictable behavior. It is generally not advisable to continue using the range for cooking while this error is active. Power the appliance off and leave it unused until the fault is diagnosed and repaired.

Repair costs depend on which component has failed. If only a harness inspection and reseating are needed, labor costs are relatively low and typically range from around 100 to 200 dollars for a service call. If the User Interface Module requires replacement, parts and labor combined can range from approximately 300 to 600 dollars or more depending on the specific model and local labor rates.
