ASKO Washer Error Code F1

The F1 code on an Asko washer indicates an overflow condition. The water level sensor has detected that water has risen above the acceptable limit inside the drum, or on models with a float switch, water has been detected pooling at the base of the machine cabinet. This is commonly caused by an inlet valve that has jammed open and cannot stop the flow of water. The machine stops operation and displays F1 to protect against further water damage.

You should not continue using the washer until the cause of the F1 error has been identified and corrected. An overflow condition means water may be entering areas of the machine not designed to handle it, or leaking into the cabinet base. Continued use risks water damage to your floor, surrounding cabinetry, and internal electrical components of the machine.
