F6 on an Asko washer is a temperature stop fault. It means the washer was unable to heat the water to the required temperature within the allowed time, which is 80 minutes for standard programs and 30 minutes for wool and hand wash programs. The machine stops the cycle and displays this code to alert you that the heating system needs attention.

Start by resetting the machine using the main switch and running a cycle again to see if the fault repeats. If it does, the next steps are to test the heating element for continuity and check the NTC temperature sensor's resistance values. Faulty components will need to be replaced, and wiring connections at the heater circuit should also be inspected for damage or corrosion.
