E11 means the washer's fill cycle took longer than the allowable time limit to reach the required water level. The control board detected a slow fill condition and stopped the cycle to prevent an indefinite wait or potential overflow confusion. The issue is almost always related to the water supply system or the inlet valve. Checking incoming water flow is the recommended first diagnostic step.

Resetting the washer may temporarily clear the E11 code, but the error will return if the underlying cause is not corrected. To reset, unplug the machine for a few minutes and then reconnect power. If the fill problem persists on the next cycle, the fault will display again, and the root cause needs to be addressed.

If the issue is simply a clogged inlet screen or a kinked hose, the repair costs nothing beyond your time. A replacement water inlet valve typically costs between $25 and $75 for parts, with professional labor adding $80 to $150 depending on your area. A water level pressure switch is generally less expensive, usually in the $15 to $50 range for the part.

Start by confirming that both the hot and cold water supply valves behind the washer are fully open and that your home water pressure is normal. Next, inspect the fill hoses for kinks and check the inlet valve screens for sediment buildup, cleaning them if necessary. If the water supply checks out, the water inlet valve or the water level pressure switch may need to be tested and replaced.

When E11 is active, the washer has already halted the cycle, so continuing to run it is not possible without clearing the fault first. The error itself does not indicate a dangerous condition, but repeatedly forcing cycles with a restricted water supply can strain the inlet valve solenoid over time. It is best to resolve the fill issue before resuming normal use.
