Heating element relay failure

From Service Manual 761988, p.40:

1.Refer to test (14) - check resistance of heating element.

2.Measure the heating element resistance across the terminals with the leads removed. Expected: 11 to 13 ohms.

3.Verify the thermal fuse and high-limit thermostat show continuity. An open safety in series with the element produces a no-heat fault even when the element tests good.
