F03 on a Crosley washer means the machine was unable to fill with enough water during the fill cycle. The control system detected that water intake was insufficient within the expected time. The most common reason is that the water supply faucets behind the washer are closed or only partially open. Opening both faucets fully is the recommended first step.

The washer will not complete a wash cycle while the F03 error is active, so there is no immediate safety hazard. However, you should not repeatedly attempt to run cycles while the fault is present, as this can put unnecessary strain on the pump and control board. Resolve the water supply issue before resuming normal use.

If the fix is simply opening the supply faucets or straightening a kinked hose, there is no parts cost involved. Cleaning clogged inlet screens is also a free repair in most cases. Start by locating the hot and cold water shutoff valves behind the washer and turning them fully counterclockwise to open them completely. If the faucets are open and hoses are clear but the error persists, the inlet valve itself may need to be tested or replaced.

Resetting the washer may temporarily clear the code from the display, but the error will return as soon as the machine attempts to fill if the underlying cause has not been addressed. The correct approach is to fix the water supply issue first, then restart the washer. A reset alone is not a repair.
