Running the dishwasher with the i0 error active means the spray arm is not rotating properly, so dishes will not be cleaned effectively. The appliance may continue to run water through the system without distributing it correctly, which wastes water and energy without producing clean results. It is best to resolve the blockage or fault before running a full cycle.

If the cause is simply a blocked spray arm or clogged nozzles, there is no parts cost, only the time to rearrange the load or clean the arm.
