The main control board is responsible for storing and executing all cycle programming logic, and when its firmware or internal memory is corrupted or misconfigured, the board can no longer correctly coordinate wash cycle parameters.

The root cause is internal to the main board itself, either from a factory programming error, corrupted firmware resulting from a power surge, or gradual component failure within the board's memory or processing circuits. Because the error specifically locks out diagnostic and rapid alarm menus, standard fault-tracing procedures that technicians rely on to gather additional fault data are unavailable.
