This fault affects the washer portion of a combination laundry appliance.

A reset may temporarily clear the E75 code, but it will return if the underlying fault is not repaired. Because the code is triggered by an out-of-range resistance reading from the inlet valve NTC sensor, the code will reappear as soon as the control board runs its diagnostic check again. A permanent fix requires repairing or replacing the faulty sensor or wiring.

Repair costs vary depending on the root cause. If only the wiring or connectors need attention, the cost may be minimal, primarily consisting of labor time. If the sensor tests correctly, inspect the wiring harness and all connectors between the sensor and the control board for damage, corrosion, or loose connections.

Operating the appliance with an active E75 code is not recommended. Without a functioning inlet valve NTC sensor, the control board cannot accurately monitor incoming water temperature, which may lead to incorrect wash cycle operation. Continuing to run the appliance in this condition could result in poor wash performance or potential damage to garments from improper water temperature.
