Error code 322 on a GE washer indicates a Compressor Motor Inverter Fault. The inverter board that controls power delivery to the compressor motor has detected a fault condition and reported it to the main control board. Diagnosing this code begins with verifying that line voltage at connector CN8 pin 4 to pin 1 is between 102 and 132 VAC.

It is not recommended to continue operating the washer while error code 322 is active. The inverter board fault indicates a problem in the compressor motor drive system, and running the unit could worsen an underlying electrical or mechanical issue. Continued use may result in additional component damage or create a safety hazard.

A reset may temporarily clear error code 322, but the fault will return if the underlying problem has not been corrected. If the inverter board, line voltage, connector, or compressor motor is the source of the fault, no reset will provide a lasting fix.
